CONTROL OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINANT OF INDUSTRIAL PARKS: THE KEY OF TRANSFORMATION

Abstract

Today, among the most economically developed countries, in the process of the ongoing formation of a new technological order, there is a process of transformation from industrial to ecoindustrial parks (EIPs), which is inevitable for the transition to the current green economy. These are significant transformations that create new demands for the application and design of urban areas with a specific 
way of using the natural environment. The promotion of industrial parks should be thought through taking into account these fundamental trends. In this regard, the presented study is devoted to the 
ecocomponent essence of the activities of industrial parks and their transformation into EIPs, organizational support for this process, analysis of the situation in the Republic of Azerbaijan, disclosure of prospects, as well as presenting generalized conclusions of the analysis and putting forward proposals. So, in the course of the research, was determined the proactive purpose of the state 
in the relevance of such transformation in the Republic of Azerbaijan, also identified the prerequisites for the transformation of existing industrial parks into EIPs in the Republic of Azerbaijan. When conducting the research, were used the methods of analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalization, SWOT-analysis, case-study, statistical method, grouping.
