Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

The Collection of Scientific Works “NeoEcon Review — NER” accepts articles in Azerbaijani, Russian and English languages ​​related to economic sciences. 

1. Structure:

Articles should be written in accordance with APA 7 style. Articles should be in Microsoft Word format, on A4 size pages (21x29 cm), with top and bottom margins of 2.5 cm, and left and right margins of 1.8 cm. The UOT index should be written in the left margin of the article. The article should be submitted in Times New Roman-12 pt, with 1 interval. 

·  Title: The title of the article should be placed in Times New Roman-14 pt (capital letters), bold, center. The full name(s) of the author(s), ORCID identifier (if not available, you can register at www.orcid.com), corporate e-mail, name(s) of the institution(s) where they work and country(ies) should be indicated, 12 pt, bold. 

·  Abstract and keywords: In addition to the language in which the article is written, an abstract and keywords should be provided in two other languages. The abstract should consist of 200-250 words, and keywords should not be less than 6. They should be written in Times New Roman 12 pt. The abstract should briefly reflect the scientific conclusions reached by the author(s), the scientific novelty of the work, its practical significance, etc.

2. Text of the article:

The text of the article should be written in Times New Roman-12 pt, APA7 style.

·  Title and subheadings: Title and subheadings should be written in Bold, 12 pt. There should be one line space between the title and the main text. 

·  Formulas: All formulas should be written clearly and numbered consecutively from the beginning of the article. The numbering should be done as follows: (1), (2), (3). Formulas should be placed in the middle of the page. 

·  Tables and graphs: Starting from the beginning of the article, tables and graphs should be numbered consecutively. ( Table 1, Table 2). Numbers should be written in Bold, and table and graph titles should be written below the number in Italic, Times New Roman-10 pt. The table should be written in 10 pt. All tables and graphs should be referenced within the text and centered. PNG and JPEG formats are considered suitable for graphs. 

Note: Please provide original tables and graphs extracted from the software or software used.

3.  References and Bibliography

APA 7 style should be used for both in-text references and bibliography. 

·  In-text references: In-text references should be given in parentheses, the author's last name and the year of publication should be indicated. Examples:

· Work by one author – (Nielsen, 2017)

· Work by two authors – (Sadigzade & Nasibov, 2022)

· Work by three or more authors – (Huseynova et al., 2019)

· Multiple works by the same author in the same year – (Berndt, 1981a; Berndt, 1981b)

· Organization as author – (Food and Drug Administration [FDA], 2019)

· For citations – (Yanmaz, 2018, p. 12)

References: Each source cited in the article must be included in the reference list.

The reference list must be arranged in alphabetical order.

4. Rules for uploading the article:

The article must be submitted by uploading it to the appropriate section of the online registration along with the author questionnaire.

If you do not have an account, register. If you have an account, log in. Submit a new article.

Click on a button such as “Upload New Article”, “Create Article” or “Submit Article”.

5. Article submission steps (OJS example):

Start Submission: Select the article type (Research article, Review, etc.). 

Agree to the ethical guidelines (check the checkboxes)..

·  Article metadata: 1. Title, annotation (summary), keywords. 2. Add information about the author(s) (name, surname, e-mail, ORCID). 

·  File upload: Upload the main article file (.doc/.docx, .pdf). 

·  Confirmation and completion: 1. Review the information you have uploaded. 2. Click the “Complete” or “Upload” button. 

·  Result and tracking: After entering the system, your article is checked by the editor. You can track the status in the system: Accepted, Rejected, Feedback, Correction required, etc. If the editor or reviewers ask you for corrections and additions, you will be informed via email or the system.

6. Recommendations: 1. Read the journal's author guidelines carefully. 2. Pay attention to the structure and citations of the article.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
